By nurturing future leaders through programs like Grow Kids Day and providing comprehensive support through the new Sheldon Kennedy Centre, Red Deer is building a resilient and inclusive future. The Mayor concludes with gratitude for the collective efforts in creating a community where every child can thrive.

Congratulations to our winners!
Central Sport announced their 2023 sport award winners on Saturday, March 16th, 2024, in front of thousands of fans at the Peavey Mart Centrium before the Red Deer Rebels game.
In partnership with the City of Red Deer, Red Deer Advocate, Red Deer Fire Department and the Pattison Media Group, the winners of the awards were chosen by a committee to recognize local athletes, teams, volunteers, and coaches.
