With 19 years of experience as a basketball coach and program leader, Shantelle has shaped
youth sport across Alberta through grassroots development, mentorship, and inclusive
programming. A former collegiate athlete at St. Mary’s University College in Calgary and
founder of the #1 Hoops program in Strathmore, she has continually championed access,
empowerment, and positive coaching culture.
Her leadership extended to the Red Deer Ravens, where she served as Executive Director,
guiding regional program coordination and team development. Now working with Central Sport
as an Event and Volunteer Coordinator, she plays a key role in bringing athletic opportunities to
life through organized community engagement.
A passionate believer in the power of sport to build community and confidence, Shantelle
remains dedicated to mentoring youth and being part of programs that foster personal growth,
teamwork, and competitive excellence.
